- Buy in will be $10 per game.
- $100 will be paid upfront before round 1.
- No pay, no play.
- A player must attend 60% of games in a season to maintain their seat.
- By buying into the game all players agree to abide by these rules.
- The winner of each round will win the pot on the night less $10 which will be awarded to second place and $10 will go to the pot for the overall prize of $100 which will be awarded to the overall winner after 10 rounds.
- Each player will be allowed to discard their two worst results.
- Players not in attendance will score 11.
- In the event of a tie after 10 rounds a countback will be used. The player with the most number of 1st placings will be the winner. If this does still does not seperate the players the most number of 2nds and so on until the winner is found.
- Each player is to host a round if they have the capacity to do so.
- Blinds will be raised at an interval of 25 minutes.
- Blinds will be as follows.
· $25 - $50
· $50 - $100
· $100 - $200
· $200 - $400
· $400 - $800
· $800 - $1200
· $1600 -$2400
· $3200 - $4800
· $6400 - $9600
- Games will start at 7:30 pm sharp
- The starting position of the button is determined by dealing for the high card.
- Players not present at the start of play will be blinded in.
- Players must keep their highest denomination chips visible at all times.
- Infringements of etiquette will result in a fine equivalent to the big blind being submitted to the pot.
- An absent player is always dealt a hand and will be put up for blinds.
- No outside assistance is permitted at the table. This includes the use of electronic gadgets and coaching.
- Outside assistance will result in a player forfeiting their hand for the first offence and removed from the game for the second offense.
- Turning over or looking at another players cards will result in a fine equivalent to the big blind.
- Looking at the muck or mucked cards will result in a fine eqivalent to the big blind.
- If you are not present when it becomes your turn to act your hand is dead. This includes situations in which a live blind is not present to act since an absent player cannot exercise the option to raise.
- Players may not make a bet or fold their cards prior to their turn. A player who acts out of turn shall be held to that action when it is their turn to act, unless intervening action changes the action the out-of-turn player is facing.
- All plays must be announced, ie fold, check, call, raise.
- By stating the word raise a player protects his right to raise but the raise must be made in one additional motion unless he states the amount.
- If a player lacks sufficient chips for a blind or a forced bet the player is entitled to get action on whatever amount of money remains. A player who posts a short blind and wins does not need to make up the blind.
- If a player deliberately shows a card both must be shown.
- In heads-up play with two blinds, the small blind is on the button.
- All hands will be turned faceup whenever a player is all-in and betting action is complete.
- If two (or more) players go broke during the same hand, the player starting the hand with the larger amount of money finishes in the higher tournament place for point and cash awards.
